There is a place where the city dissolves and something older begins.

It starts before you even reach the water. You feel it in the air — that unmistakable sense of freedom that arrives as the horizon opens up and the cityscape fades into the distance. The smell of salt. The warmth of the sun on your skin. The way its light refracts across the sea, scattering into a thousand small flames. For a moment, the world feels lighter, quieter, and infinitely farther away. That feeling is what we are about.

Who we are

Born from a love for living water

Costa Viva Watersports was never built around a product. It was built around a belief: that there's something about the water that makes us feel more alive.

From our home at Dubai Marina Harbour, we create experiences that bring people closer to that feeling. Whether it's the rush of a jet ski, the freedom of a private boat charter, the silence beneath the surface while diving, or the calm of a fishing trip at sea, every adventure is another way to reconnect — with nature, with the elements, and with yourself.

We believe the ocean does not ask you to perform. It simply asks you to be present.

Our philosophy

Three elements. One feeling.

The sea has always been a teacher. Long before there were cities, long before there were borders, there was water — and the human instinct to enter it, to cross it, to be changed by it. Sun, water, and land have been composing the architecture of human feeling since the beginning. We work with all three.

The Sun

Clarity & Energy

The sun over Dubai is not subtle. It arrives with intention — warm and total, a presence that lands on your skin and reminds you that you have a body, that the body is real, that it is here. Out on the water, sunlight becomes something else entirely. It bounces and multiplies, turns the surface of the sea into a living, shifting mirror. It sharpens your senses and softens everything that felt urgent an hour ago. There is a reason people across cultures have turned their faces upward toward it for thousands of years. The sun is not just warmth. It is permission — permission to open up, to be present, to let the day begin.

The Water

Consciousness & Release

Water does not hold still. It moves under you, against you, around you — and in doing so, it asks you to move too. When you are on the water, your body adjusts constantly, finding balance, reading the rhythm of the waves, responding to something alive and always in motion. This is not concentration in the way a desk requires it. It is a different kind of attention — wide, sensory, instinctive. It is the attention of the whole body, not just the mind. And when that happens, something extraordinary follows: the noise in your head quiets. The water does not take anything from you. It simply fills the space that worry used to occupy, and what remains is a rare, clean feeling of being completely, simply here.

The Land

Connection & Return

The shoreline is the border between two worlds, and standing on it — or returning to it after time on the water — carries its own particular weight. There is the land: solid, known, dependable. There is the sea: vast, unknowable, forever in motion. To move between them is to understand something about yourself. What you carry with you. What the water took away. What the sun revealed. The land is where experience becomes memory, where the sensation settles into the body and finds its shape. Coming back to shore after a morning on the water, you carry something invisible but real — a quietness, a warmth, a sense of having met something larger than yourself and found that you were equal to it.

What we stand for

BodyNatureFreedom

There is a particular kind of confidence that does not come from winning. It does not come from acquiring things or from the approval of others. It comes from the experience of your own body meeting the natural world — and discovering that you are enough.

These three words are at the heart of everything we do at Costa Viva. They are not a marketing slogan. They are the feeling we come back to every morning when we prepare the boats, check the life jackets, and watch the first guests of the day walk down to the water.

Body

Because the sea wakes up parts of you that the land has put to sleep. Because physical sensation — the spray of the water, the acceleration of the jet ski, the arc of the parasail above a blue horizon — is one of the most direct routes back to yourself.

Nature

Because we live in a world that is increasingly mediated by screens, by noise, by the endless management of attention. The ocean is not mediable. It is immediate, unfiltered, and entirely real. It does not care what you do for work. It asks only that you show up.

Freedom

Not the abstract freedom of ideas, but the physical, sensory, embodied freedom of moving fast across open water with nothing between you and the horizon. The freedom of depth, of silence underwater, of watching the city from a distance and recognising — with unexpected clarity — what actually matters.

The sea is not a destination. It is a return.

The Costa Viva experience

A day on the water changes the day on land

We have watched people arrive tense and leave light. We have seen children experience the ocean for the first time and discover, in that moment, a sense of wonder they did not know they had room for. We have taken people out on still mornings when the sea is glass and the silence is so complete you can hear the sound of your own breathing, and on afternoons when the waves are high and the ride demands everything you have.

Every activity we offer — whether you are racing across the surface on a jet ski, floating suspended above the sea beneath a parasail, drifting silently through the water on a kayak, or descending into the cool blue quiet of a dive — is a different door into the same room. A room that has no walls, and no ceiling, and no end.

We take safety seriously because we take the experience seriously. Every participant receives a full safety briefing. Every piece of equipment is checked. Every crew member is trained. But safety, for us, is not just about preventing harm. It is about creating the conditions in which a person can let go — can fully surrender to the experience, knowing they are held. Because that surrender — that moment of trusting the water, the wind, the light, and the people beside you — is where the real experience begins.

Come alive

The water is waiting

Whatever you are looking for — the rush of speed, the peace of depth, the spaciousness of the open sea, or simply a morning that belongs entirely to you — it is here, at the edge of the water, at the place where Dubai meets the Gulf and the horizon opens wide.

Costa Viva means “living coast”. It means a shoreline that breathes, a sea that moves, a place where life is not observed from a distance but entered completely, with the whole body, the whole self.

Come and find out what the water has to say to you.
